​All events on public property or those involving public services or creating any disruption require an Event Permit License.

In May 2024 the Town of Spring Hope Board of Commissioners adopted the Community Economic Development Assessment Plan (CEDAP). The CEDAP was a five month effort utilizing public input toward formulating core economic development strategies in the Town of Spring Hope.

Spring Hope Depot Project

​In 2023 the Town of Spring Hope received an $800,000 Rural Transformation Grant from NC Commerce for the restoration of the Spring Hope Depot. The grant funds the adaptive reuse of the depot into an event center.

​

In 2024 the Town of Spring Hope received a $537,500 Rural Downtown Economic Development Grant from NC Commerce to design and construct a multi-use platform adjacent to the Spring Hope Depot. Both projects will be constructed simultaneously and are slated to open in 2025.
